Rebecca has always supported the tender transition to parenthood; starting with supporting young women navigating addiction, mental health and pregnancy since 2010. She joined a group practice in the United States in 2014 that specialised in working with mothers, parents and couples navigating the journey to parenthood; supporting fertility challenges, postnatal depression, anxiety and parenting.
When she moved to Kinsale, Co. Cork in 2021 Mindful Roots Counselling and Psychotherapy was born to provide that same compassionate care to mothers and families here in Ireland. In 2024 Rebecca saw the need for specialised training for Perinatal professionals and launched the Perinatal Mental Health Institute
